Operators will receive a new perk that will allow them to instantly switch between the primary and secondary weapon. This change is meant to make it easier for players to adapt their playstyle on the fly.
The rainbow six siege crystal guard patch notes is a blog post that details the upcoming balance changes coming to Rainbow Six Siege.
Rainbow Six Siege’s newest update, Operation Crystal Guard, introduces a new Operator and a slew of modifications to the game’s balance, forcing even seasoned players to reconsider their tactics. We were given a peek at all of the balancing adjustments coming to the game with this update, as well as its new Operator, Osa, during a recent preview event.
Several map updates

Unlike the previous two seasons, Operation Crystal Guard offers a mix of minor improvements to three maps rather than a complete overhaul to just one. However, unlike Favela before its redesign, these modifications are being applied in more popular maps that are often seen in rotation.
The stock room bomb site has been completely eliminated, replaced by two new bomb sites in separate places, requiring players to learn how to attack and defend various spots on the map. Between the bar and backstage, a new door has been installed, and the bar has been outfitted with new props to make it more difficult to detect a lurking Defender. Between the kennels and the graffiti area, a new walkway has been constructed, providing another access outdoors.
Out of all three maps, the coastline has experienced the greatest alterations. Attackers will have a tougher time getting early kills from outside the building now that the line of sight from the exterior rooftop has been restricted. Some windows have been fully closed, however Defenders now have the ability to barricade all open windows, giving them a significant edge. The bomb sites have been repositioned to make matches more balanced, and you may now propel up from a wider range of locations, including the DJ booth.
The elimination of cars immediately outside the building is the most noticeable change on Bank, which is the last map to be modified this season. These have now been relocated, although the map is now virtually unrecognizable. The line of sight from the rear alley path has been altered, and both roof skylights have been covered, eliminating two major points of access. The file cabinets have been moved to the inner balcony, and the vault’s bars have been removed entirely. There’s no way to camp safely there right now. The vault is now accessible via a hatch in the foyer. Finally, the stairwell rails are now completely destructible, ensuring that no one can utilize them as cover while gaining a significant ground advantage over their opponents.
Operators

This season, a few Operators have been tweaked to provide for a more pleasant experience for everyone. The most significant is that Sledge no longer has an SMG-11. That is, thankfully, his only alteration.
Twitch’s drone has been modified to be more effective at eliminating opposing drones and creating diversions throughout both the opening and assault phases. Cluster charges from Fuse may now be used on reinforced surfaces. They’ll take a little longer to penetrate, but they’ll do the job. The extra charges will not explode if the charge is fired before it blows, so you’ll only have a tiny hole to look through.
The smart ping 2.0 upgrade, which affects IQ, is the most significant. IQ will be able to ping electrical devices across walls starting with Operation Crystal Guard, even those held by hostile Operators. Almost likely, this will become a new method for teams to monitor opponents as they travel across a territory.
Updates on the quality of life

Once spotted, all Operators have rim lighting, enabling you to follow them against the environment’s backdrop. Crystal Guard, on the other hand, provides the option to turn this off, since some players consider it to be cheating or an unfair advantage. In a pinch, an opponent without the ghostly light may be more difficult to shoot, leading to more frenzied close-quarters combat.
detection of flashes
Finally, in Rainbow Six Siege, Ubisoft is changing the way flash grenades operate. At the moment, there doesn’t seem to be any kind of pattern or procedure for when players are blinded by a flashbang. The game is now being modified such that a new algorithm identifies a player’s closeness to the explosive, their direction of travel, and the area in which the device is detonating. The usage of flash grenades will be more equitable and effective as a result of this upgrade. You’ll always know that, if the conditions are met, some degree of the impact will be applied to every player in the area.
